Gerald Chapman: Village Clerk

Gerald currently serves as Village Clerk for Inverness. He has devoted his career to public service and education. For 36 years, he was a teacher and administrator in High School District 211 and later the Associate Dean of the College of Education at Roosevelt University for four years and a District 15 School Board member for 6 years. His leadership earned him the Illinois Superintendent of the Year Award by the Illinois Association of School Administrators in 2000.

Gerald is also active throughout the community, serving as a Trustee for the Inverness Fire Protection District and the Fire District’s Pension Board, which he has done for 20 years. He’s also served on the board of the Palatine Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Youth and Family Services. Gerald and his wife have lived in Inverness for 25 years.

Charles Fritz: Village Trustee

Charles has served as Village Trustee for 7 years and has been committed to transparency, accountability, and community engagement to provide a balanced perspective to decision-making representing the residents of Inverness. Charles’ public service extended to helping our next generation grow, serving 8 years as a High School District 211 Board member.

His career has given him extensive experience that is benefiting the Inverness Village Board. He worked with domestic and international large corporations and start-ups in executive management, operations, and technology roles. He’s also an entrepreneur, starting and growing three companies from the ground up. Charles and his wife have lived in Inverness for 26 years.

Richard “Dick” Gallagher: Village Trustee

Richard has served as a Village Trustee for 28 years and over the past 24 years, he’s been Chairman of the Village’s Finance Committee. He’s been instrumental in helping the village receive a AAA bond rating, maintaining a robust reserve fund, and lowering resident’s property taxes.

Richard has had an illustrious career in public service and business. Following graduation from West Point and serving in the Army, he ended up working in the White House for the National Security Council under President Nixon. He later joined the First National Bank of Chicago where he became Senior Vice President and then worked for marketing companies as President, CEO, and COO. Richard and his wife have lived in Inverness for nearly 40 years.

Timothy Tiedje: Village Trustee

Timothy served for 16 years as a Village Trustee and has been active in giving back to the Inverness community. He’s served on the Inverness Fire Commission since 1997, as Chairman of the Inverness Tree Commission for the past 35 years, and on the Inverness Veterans Memorial Commission.

Timothy was the first individual to Adopt a Highway in Illinois and has led efforts to keep Barrington Road between Dundee and Palatine Road clean for nearly 20 years. Professionally, Timothy has made a career as a set director and property master for major motion films. He and his wife have lived in Inverness for nearly 40 years.
